Solo shoot 4 Brogan

Shooting with brogan was a lot of fun and pretty easy, Brogan is a natural infront of the camera with great posing skills allowing me to cycle through shots pretty quickly.

I tried a few new techniques in this shoot, one was using a soft filter to bring out flare in my images and the other was using a lensbaby composer to create interesting effects and blur.

Gear was used was my a7r3, my 85mm f1.4 and my 50mm f1.4 aswell as the lensbaby and lee soft filters (specifically number 1).

Mixing up the gelled edge lighting in this one with orange and pink, I like how these turned out.

This one without the leather jacket better separates model from background.

Getting anything in focus proved difficult with the lensbaby, I had the peaking turned upto full on my Sony and still it was very hard.

I was lucky to get both eyes in focus here. I really like the effect from the soft filter.

A very simple setup that works surprisingly well. The jumper adds alot to this one in my opinion.

A setup I’ve been trying to develop, its almost there in this one perhaps needs some background glow.
