Scorching in Kent

We had a long weekend away in Deal, Kent. We enjoyed a picnic on the beach, burgers on the beach and a new level of strange sunburn all down my arms. Definitely need to work on applying sun cream in future.

Shooting wise I stuck to the usual shots in deal and ventured out to Herne bay, that was mostly a scouting trip for later in the year when the sun sets at a reasonable time.

Sadly. I didn't get to fly the spark, too windy and too many people on the beache.

Gear wise I used my 16-35 f4 and my 70-200 f4

It was a nightmare to get this anywhere near in focus, mainly due to the wind, if you zoom in on this, it isn't in focus. 70-200 f4 at 185mm, f16, iso 50, 30 secs

I think there's an epic pano of the pier here that I haven't done yet. Next time. 70-200 f4 at 200mm, f13, iso 50, 30 secs

This would look good at blue hour with the pier all lit up. 16-35 f4, at 17mm, f11, iso 50, 30 secs
